That’s it, it’s definitely winter here now. It’s very quiet and it’s cold! Looking forward to the start of the Christmas festivities soon.
The tourist rush has been and gone and the ‘arrière saison’ is now upon us. This is my favourite time of the year in the Dordogne as the pace of life slows back down, the calm makes it easier to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the sun is still hot enough for another month of outdoor living.
I’ve now spent a week posting more images albeit with less text. I find it more easy going as a blog format so I’m going to continue in that direction for now.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Having been writing the blog for a while, I’ve realised that the time it takes me to write an accompanying story with the images is stopping me posting as many photos as I’d like. From now on, I’ll be posting more single image entries here and writing longer articles every now and again for a special project only.
As always, thanks for stopping by.
